There are numerous pet–friendly events organized in the United States. These outdoor events allow you to be accompanied by your pet dogs. Browsing online will let you know of event details. By far Orange County, California and Florida host the most pet-friendly events. Surprisingly Virginia is not far behind.
Outdoor events in Virginia encourage you to bring your four-legged friends alongside. From April through October you may witness Doggie Happy Hours every Tuesday and Thursday evenings when dog’s hold court in Alexandria City’s Holiday Inn.
The Orchard Gap Pickin' Porch in Fancy Gap has music lovers gathering along with their dogs on leashes to listen to great music overlooking Blue Ridge Parkway. Wine & Wags in Rockbridge County lets you relax and enjoy the vineyards with your pets. You can do this every second Friday of the month, May through October.
For the best doggone goodtime take your pets to Bark in the Park, organized by Chesapeake Parks and Recreation at City Park that features games, contests and demonstrations in October.
